New 529 Savings Opportunities

Savings for Catholic School Tuition

The 2017 Tax Cut and Jobs Act expanded 529 savings plans to allow families to invest funds for K12 tuition (including costs to attend St. Brigid of Kildare School) in addition to higher education expenses.
This means families can now take advantage of 529 plans (which have tax advantages) to help save and pay for costs of St. Brigid of Kildare School tuition.
Learn More at the Celebration of Learning, May 24
Richard Clemens, CFA CPA, a member of our parish Finance Committee, will be available at a table at the Celebration of Learning on May 24 from 6:30 – 8 PM to answer questions about the tax advantages of using your 529 plan to pay for St. Brigid of Kildare tuition.
More Details
Below are additional resources explaining these changes. To enroll in a 529 or for specific advice, please discuss with your financial advisor.
